Witch Haze chapter 2

(In the nurses office)

*the room had 5 rooms divided by curtains, all lined up against the wall. A desk was right beside the door, and on the other side was a table.*

Mana: *walks in carrying Kaimae and Xed following behind, both covered in blood* Look what I've got~!

Nurse: Uh Oh, what happened?

Xed: (They're acting like this is totaly normal!)

Mana: I found them in the 'Awakening Chamber', and now they need to be cleaned up. This young man needs to have a Creature inspection.

Nurse: Let me guess, judging by the marks on her neck, he's a Vampire type, right?

Mana: You guessed it.

Nurse: Would you please come with me?

Xed: Sure. *walks to her*

Mana: *puts Kaimae on a bed*

Nurse: *opens a big tube like machine* Would you please step in here.

Xed: Okay. *steps inside* What now?

Nurse: *closes the door* Just don't move, when you get done just press the red button. *walks to Kaimae*... So Kaimae again?

Mana: Yeah. She fell asleep on the way here.

Nurse: Shes always doing stuff like this, isnt she?

Mana: Even though I get onto her about it, she still does it!

Nurse: *gets bandages and stuff to clean her with* I guess its good that she dose this kind of thing for people.

Mana: Yeah, its one of the things that makes her different that other Witches.

Xed: *stumbles out of the machine* Holy crap! That was awesome!

Mana: Did you have fun?

Xed: Yeah! Can I go again!?

Nurse: Excuse me guys, I'm going to take Kaimae in the back and clean her up. Would you mind helping him, Mana?

Mana: Sure.

Nurse: Thank you. *takes Kaimae to the room furthest from them*

Mana: Here come sit up here and take those bloody clothes off. I'll get you some clean ones.

Xed: Okay. *sits on the table and takes his shirt off* So what is this place exactly?

Mana: Its one of the few schools that teach Creatures, like yourself, how to control your powers and abilities.

Xed: Alright, I know I'm a Vampire now, and I know Kaimae-chan is a Witch, but thats all I know! How dose this stuff work? Are there only Witches and Vampires?

Mana: Oh no! There are more than you could even imagine!

Xed: Then please, do explain!

Mana: Well how do I put it *gets a wet cloth*... *walks to him* There are different classes to the different Creature types. *hands him the cloth* You are a Vampire. Vampires are in the 'Demon' class.

Xed: Demon!? But I'm not a bad guy!

Mana: Not all demons are bad you know! There are quite a few here that are nicer than anyone.

Xed: *sigh* Good!

Mana: Your friend Kaimae is a Witch. Witches are in the 'Caster' class. The 'Caster' class is mainly Witches, Wizards, and anyone with a magic ability. The 'Demon' class is made up of Vampires, 'Devilish' Demons, and some types of Anima.

Xed: Wait I thought Kaimae-chan was going to be in the same class as me?

Mana: Well yes, in the same school class. But type wise, your not.

Xed: Augh~ My head hurts~!

Mana: I know Its a lot to take in, but it will all make sense soon. Well looks like your all cleaned up. *hands him some clothes from a cabinet nearby* Put these on while I go check on Kaimae. *starts to walk off*

Xed: Okay. Hey I want to check on her too!

Mana: Let me first. You dont want to walk-in on her getting changed do you~?

Xed: *blushes* Uh~ Yeah, y-you go first! Just tell me if its okay to go in.

Mana: Haha, okay! *walks in Kaimae's room* How is she?

Xed: (Huh? I can hear them! Cool!)

Nurse: Well shes okay for now, but I still worry that she'll get in to something shes going to regret!

Mana: Well that's just her, can't do anything about it.

Kaimae: ..... Mmm~ .....

Nurse: We should be quiet, she needs some rest.

Mana: Okay, I'll tell Xed. *walks out*

Xed: Is Kaimae-chan okay? I didn't hurt her, did I?!

Mana: No shes fine. She just needs some rest is all.

Xed: Oh okay. Can I go see her?

Mana: Not right now, but she should be up soon.

Xed: Okay. *stomach growls* Uh, was that me?

Mana: I guess you didnt drink enough of her blood, did you?

Xed: I guess not. I didnt like it ... But it tasted SO good!

Mana: I bet it did. They say a Vampires first bite tastes better than anything!

Xed: Wait. Dose this mean I cant eat real food ever AGAIN?!?!

Mana: No. You can still eat real food, but you have to drink blood everyday to make the food settle.

Xed: OKAY!

Kaimae: Mmm~! ...

Xed: *puts hands over his mouth* Oops!

Kaimae: ... Xed? ... Is that you? ...

Xed: Yeah, its me. Are you okay?

Kaimae: ... I'm fine. Are you okay now?

Xed: Sure am!

Kaimae: ... Uhh ... umm ... Woah! ..

Nurse: Kaimae! Get back in the bed!

Kaimae: Dont worry, I'll be okay! ... I just need to get woken up.

Xed: Augh! *gets off of the table he was sitting on and walks quickly toward her room* Kaimae! Get back in bed and rest!

Mana: Wait dont-!

Xed: Just- *pulls back the curtain to her room, sees Kaimae and blushes* Uh~ Kaimae-chan?

Kaimae: *appears to only have a blanket around her* What?

Mana: *grabs Xed's arm pulls him out*

Xed: I'm sorry!

Mana: What are you doing barging into a girls room? Don't you have any manners?

Kaimae: *peaks her head around the corner*

Xed: I'm sorry! She just wont listen when you tell her to rest. Shes like me that way, she thinks she can keep going, hurt or not!

Kaimae: Well we are hard headed like that, arent we?

Xed: (She was fully dressed? Thank goodness!) Kaimae-chan, please go lay back down!

Kaimae: No way I'm f- *trips* fine!

Xed: .....*walks toward her quickly*

Kaimae: If you want I could show yo-

Xed: *picks her up* I am hard-headed, and you are going to rest! *takes her back to her room*

Kaimae: *blushes* Xed! Put me down! Since when can you pick me up so easily?

Xed: *freezes* .... Wait I ...*looks at her* I picked you up?

Kaimae: Y-Yeah!

Xed: Uhh~ This is awkward~ ... And pretty cool!

Kaimae: Cool? This isnt 'cool'! This is awesome! I finally have someone to spar with!

Xed: Spar? ... Okay I'll spar with you, if you rest! *puts her on the bed*

Kaimae: Okay~ ... I guess now I have a reason to rest.

Xed: (Wow! This is a side of her I've never seen! How much is there to her that I dont know?) Hehe, me too! I'm going to train hard to fight with you!

Kaimae: Me too, I cant wait!

Mana: Okay you two. If you want to fight, you have to rest and you need to train, or you'll never beat her!

Xed: Oh, yeah right!

Mana: We're not going to start training today, so that will give you a chance to get used to things.

Xed: Okay. Mind if I go look around?

Kaimae: No don't!

Xed: Uhh, why not?

Kaimae: Gaito-nii-san isnt good to Vampires! Please stay in here until I can go with you!

Xed: Gaito-nii-san?

Mana: Gaito is Kaimae's older brother.

Xed: You have a older brother!?

Mana: They arent blood related, but oddly enough, they have the same last name and their the same Creature type. So they treat each other like family.

Xed: They? Who is they?!

Mana: Well all of Kaimae's brothers, of course.

Xed: A-A-ALL!?!? How many brothers do you have Kaimae-chan?!

Kaimae: I guess I should have told you, but I knew you would ask about them, and I couldn't tell anyone they were Creatures! So I just kept them a secret~.

Xed: Okay, just tell me how many brothers you have?

Kaimae: ... 3~!

Xed: Th-th-th 3?!?! *imagines all three of them tormenting him*

Mana: I think it would be a good idea if you met them.

Kaimae/Xed: SAY WHAT?!

Mana: Well why not?

Kaimae: Well I dont want Xed to die!

Mana: Its against the rules to kill other Creatures in school.

Kaimae: Even so, the could get dangerously close!

Xed: I-I dont think its such a good idea~!

Mana: Odds are you are going to meet them eventually.

Xed: *sweating like crazy*

Kaimae: I know that! But by the time they meet, I'll be there to protect him!

Xed: You'll protect me?

Kaimae: Yeah I'm not some useless girl who runs away from a fight!

Xed: (But shes always so shy and quiet! Is this what Kaimae-chan is really like?) Oh I get it. I'm dreaming!

Mana: Umm, I hate to burst you bubble, but your not dreaming!

Xed: Of course I am! Kaimae-chan is acting all tough, I've turned into a Vampire, it all means I'm dreaming!

Kaimae: Uh~ Xed your really not dreaming. This is real!

Xed: Then prove it!

Kaimae: Okay! *smacks the back of his head*

Xed: OW! What the-?

Kaimae: See, its real.

Xed: Okay okay, I believe you! You didnt have to hit so hard~!

Kaimae: Sorry~

Mana: Its getting late, I'll take you home, Xed. Dont worry, I wont let your brothers get to him, Kaimae!

Kaimae: Thank you, Sensei.

Mana: No problem, lets go.

Xed: What about Kaimae-chan?!

Nurse: She has to stay here tonight. She lost so much blood she's dangerously close to dying, I have to put the right amount of blood back in her body. *stick an IV in her arm*

Kaimae: You dont have to worry about me, I'll still be here tomorrow.

Xed: Okay then.

Mana: Lets get going.

Xed: Alright, bye Kaimae-chan!

Kaimae: Bye Xed! See you tomorrow!
